Aircraft Ferry Services

Professional Aircraft Relocation & Delivery

Moving an aircraft across the state or across the country requires more than just a pilot—it requires a professional who understands logistics, insurance, and the responsibility of caring for your asset.

Whether you have purchased a new plane, need to move an aircraft for maintenance, or are simply repositioning your fleet, I provide reliable, safety-first ferry pilot services. I treat every aircraft I fly with the same care and respect as if it were my own.

Why Hire a Professional Ferry Pilot?

Often, owners find themselves unable to move their own aircraft due to:

  • Insurance Requirements: Your policy may require a pilot with higher total time or specific make/model experience that you haven’t met yet.

  • Time Constraints: A cross-country flight can take days. Hiring a ferry pilot allows you to focus on your business or family while your aircraft is safely transported.

  • Complex Logistics: Weather delays, route planning, and technical stops can be a headache. I handle the entire mission profile from start to finish.

Services I Provide

I specialize in relocating single-engine piston aircraft. My services include:

  • Pre-Purchase Relocation: Moving a newly bought aircraft to its new home base.

  • Maintenance Repositioning: Transporting aircraft to and from maintenance facilities for annuals, avionics upgrades, or engine overhauls.

  • Owner-Assisted Ferry: Want to fly along? We can turn the delivery flight into a dual cross-country training adventure, allowing you to build time and experience in your new plane.

My Approach to Ferry Flying

I am not just “building time” at your expense. I am a professional delivering a service.

  • Safety First: I do not push weather or mechanicals. If the conditions aren’t right, the plane stays on the ground. Your safety and the aircraft’s integrity are my top priorities.

  • Communication: You will receive regular updates on your aircraft’s location and status throughout the journey.

  • Cost Management: I plan efficient routes to minimize flight time and fuel costs, ensuring the delivery is as economical as possible.

Pricing & Expenses

My ferry rates are competitive and transparent.

  • Daily Rate: $500 per day (plus expenses).

  • Expenses: Owner is responsible for all flight-related costs, including fuel, oil, tie-down fees, and pilot travel (airline ticket to/from the aircraft, hotels, and meals).

Note: A formal agreement detailing rates and responsibilities will be provided before any flight operations commence.
